• Data usage in Connected software - VetIS

Connected LLC develops software applications (Dentas eKliinik, MediSpa, VetIS — further Connected app ) for dentists, a wide range of specialty doctors, veterinary workers, spa specialists and more, since 2007.

Our focus is to offer our customers time-saving solutions. One of these solutions is Connected app binding with Google Calendar. This is neccessary for user` calendar event export from Connected app to Google Calendar. This allows our users to see events from smartphones without the need to log in to the program. From home, on the move etc.

Described Calendar event function is pushed one way only. Connected app → Google Calendar. No user data is fetched from Google to Connected app.

That function requires Connected app users to link their personal Google account to Connected app. For doing so users must have the signed agreement with Connected LLC and an active account in Connected app.
User should be logged in to the Connected app to bind its own Connected app account with Google Calendar account.
For this purpose the user finds under the “User settings” section the place to bind a personal Connected app account with Google account. In this binding process Connected app asks from Connected app users a Google account username (e-mail) and password. It`s asked through a website browser (integrated in Connected app) and Connected does not store Google account passwords in its own system.
Once Google Calendar is binded with a Connected app, all events from users dayplan (work schedule) can be sent to Google Calendar. User can send all already existing events from the Connected app to users’ personal Google account.

We do send to Google Calendar:
1.patients forename,
2.initial of family name
3.reason for the visit (remark)

If a user moves an event in the Connected app, then the Connected app sends a move command to Google Calendar. Move command moves the event in users personal Google Calendar in the same place as in Connected app.

If a user erases an event from the Connected app, then the Connected app sends a delete command to Google Calendar. Delete command deletes the event from users personal Google Calendar.
If the user decides to unlink their Google Calendar account, then unlinking is available in the same place, where binding — under User settings.
